New guy, new Camry

What's going on all. My name is Weston and I am the proud purchaser of a 2011 Camry SE. Bought it Monday but haven't had the time to go and get it so I'll be in it around 6:30 this evening!

Plans so far are HIDs, Pioneer double din, plasti dip the chrome window trim and emblems. I should have the emblems done by the end of the weekend.

Here's a picture of my weekend Toy, luckily I was able to spin it so I could keep it, and even better keeping it on insurance. Now that it has down time some major mods will start coming to this thing

I'll have some questions for you guys in time, in the meantime, nice to meet you all and looking forward to being a part of the community here.

Welcome! Great work on the 4Runner. Do you have to seal components in the engine to drive in deep water even though you have a snorkel? I.E. coil packs or the like?

Can't wait to see your mods.

4 cyl. After testing both I loved the v6 but didn't really need it, needed to make some sacrifices in all of this to keep the 4runner.

Thanks! Differential/tranny breathers are extended to safe levels and some components are silicon sealed as well as the doors being silicon treated during times I use it hard. I make it a point to keep a steady pace when in more dangerous depths so the momentum usually helps avoid any troublesome places like heads, etc.

I'm looking for a double din shell to replace the stock radio. Is there just one make? While I'm at it I'm thinking of plasti dipping or even spray painting the silver on the center console. My dvd player is black and I think an all black center console would be nice. Anyone have any suggestions?

It is. I was surprised how dark it was and I'm happy with it. But given my work and what I'm carrying at times I'm probably going darker at least in the rears.

No I work in the spirits industry. Used to have endorsement deals with TRD for the 4runner but nothing working for a dealership or anything.

Anyone have any insight into the double din shells or painting the center console?

Very nice, I have the same color on 07 and it still looks like new...Nice choice on black leather. I'd add HIDs and aftermarket GPS system...maybe some Solara TEINs...you are done sir.

Good luck
