p-0240 code- trying to fix.

i've got a 2003 camry. With the 4 cylinder engine in it. And i've got a p0240 code.

I've change the 2 o2 sensors. along with the piece of exhaust from the manifold to the resonator with a brand new piece. And light came back on again.

I think i'm going to change the manifold now which has the second CAT in it.

Do you think there is any things i may be over looking?

Thanks

Here are your top 4 for that code

1.Exhaust gas leak
2. dirty or malfunctioning MAF
3.Faulty O2 sensor
4.Faulty catalytic converter

ODBII codes are not 100% dead on the problem all the time.

The manifold is your primary cat and the only converter that is monitored by the sensors. Replacing the front pipe with the secondary cat in it did nothing to help you.

i put new o2 sensors already. And i put that pipe because that's what the guy at the dealership wanted me to put. He said it's not worth it to put the manifold. Well the pipe did help on my scan tool the light changed from a red to a yellow.

I already have the new manifold on order i'm going to be changing it tomorrow.

I will check the MAF sensor though while i'm working on it tomorrow.

OH btw all the parts are toyota.
