Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hi guys, I have a Toyota Camry 2010 SE and was thinking if my fog lights have any chance to work independently. I was surfing the web and some guys do in other models.
My question is, if any of you guys post a DIY for this kind of mod?

Here's a diagram to have them on with the parking lights. So this way if you forget to turn them off, they will switch off. If you want them on alone, wire the switch to the battery.
will this work om Camry? do we have same connector behind glove box?
my fogs are independent, they sitting on independent wire harness with relay. power taken from fuse box and on/off switch installed on dash.
I don't care about DRL, but I would like to loose "auto" mode on my low beams.
anybody can confirm that gen 6 cutting "blue wire" will disable "Auto" mode?

was playing on google and found posts about turning off autolight on Vibe and Tundra.
they both stats you need to cut yellow wire on DRL module and ground end which goes to the module.
they say you still will have DRL, but auto light will be off.
not sure where DRL module on camry, but sure will try this mode.

You will put a dead short on the 15A H-LP fuse and stress the high power MOSFET transistor in the Light Control Circuit module, according to the diagram for the Gen 6 version. The module and fuse is located under the hood.

so, this wont work...

No blue wire in the Gen 6. The Gen 6 uses a mosfet transistor, no relays.
There are two wires to activate the three functions.
1. Ground ONLY the Pink wire = low beams.
2. Ground the Pink AND the Violet wire together = high beams.
3. Ground ONLY the violet wire = DRL
4. Both lifted from ground = all off
