Question can i use HID's in my 2011 SE? without mods?

hi guys so im looking to get HID's from xenon depot but idk if it'll work ive read (somewhere on the internet) that u cant use the hid's with DRL...NVM im an idiot

Installing HID in the low beam won't affect DRL function since DRL uses high beam bulb. It's better (even light spread, wider light spread, less annoying for oncoming traffic,...) if you can take some time and money to do a retrofit.

yea i searched after i made the thread...i should reverse that process next time

so im gonna go agead and get the xenondepot "volt" kit because ive bin reading good stuff about it

Why would you want to use a bulb(if it can really be called that) - that costs $100 - $200 a piece to replace?

Actually, after market bulbs only really costs like $40-50 a pair to replace. Unless you do a retro-fit and use OEM Phillips bulbs then they can cost $70+ a piece. Also HID bulbs last a while, so i don't think you have to worry about replacing bulbs.
