5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
That's what I did. I got Hybrid Tails. I got tired of people behind me not thinking I had my turn signal on. The bright red leds and the red turn singal makes it hard for people to tell that you are slowing down and making a turn..

Yes, you can barely see the turn signals!
BTW, did you change just the corner tails, or the complete assemblies including on the trunk lid?
I don’t get why The Hybrid gets the amber turn sigs and the regular gets all red.. Also the Red turns are banned in Europe and all the Europeans sell Reds here.. Why?
I"m not a Camry owner, but I love the LED taillights. I just don't like red turn signals. When I'm behind a Camry and they flip their turn signal on, and let's say it's around 12 noon, I can barely see it. Amber is much more visible.

i love the led tails on the 2010s and up but i don't know why they made the turn signal part red its real hard to see both during day and night. I guess they made it red because it might look weird the bottom part being clear and the top part being clear too, so they just made it red. lol but x2 you should switch them out with the hybrid tails because those are both clear and just sell the ones you have now.
Guess I'll look for some '09 tails or some new hybrid tails. I think LED's and clear tails look tacky, but it seems to be the trend with a lot of cars now.
2007-2009 will not fit due to wiring. You'll need 2010-2011 hybrid tail lights. It will run you around $400 for the whole set of 4 new. If you can score some used ones then you'll be in luck.

i dnt really mind the turn signal being red, i jut dont like how they did it. they should have integrated turn signals into the LED brake lights (like on escalades)...but i just went ahead and bout a high powered LED light from v-led and put it in there, makes a WORLD of a difference, its damn near brighter than the brake lights
