Id say the opposite. if its your DD, get bags if your roads are shocking, you constantly need to go in steep driveways.
Why airbags?
more variability
more choice for ride height

your not gonna drift in it
your not gonna track it
but if your pockets are shallow, just get coils.

if you want to drive and look good - coils.

if you want to look great - bags.

bags pros and cons:

+ adjustable on the fly so you can drive low, and raise it up for one of those steep parking lot entrances
+ you can go really really really low

- compressor can be loud
- complex setup with air hoses to the suspension; get it done very right otherwise bad things may happen while driving

coilovers pros and cons
+ adjustable ride height and damping
+ 'simpler' than air ride system
- not adjustable on the fly
- ride may be uncomfortable

i dont know the price range for an airbag setup so i can't comment on which has a lower price

bags are for groceries.

bags are loud, and can be annoying to deal with. i think for the money, coilovers are a lot more bang for the buck. how low are you wanting to go? if you get bags are you gonna drive around at stock height and park real low?
