Camry dinged at only 10 days old, want suggestions

So I'm walking out to my car and this girl taps my bumper. Heard a small sound but she didn't say anything to me so I didn't think she really hit it. Decided to look an hour later and the grille has got some scrapes in the middle. I'm pretty pissed about this whole thing but I'll skip to the part where I couldn't even see with her pulling back up to my car where her car could have hit mine so I decided to drop it. Nonetheless the mark remains. Its small and I can go take pictures later, but I'm wondering is there anything under my warranty or anything I can activate to replace this? If it was older I wouldn't care but I am meticulous about my vehicles and want this back to new ASAP. If I'm screwed and go out of pocket, what am I looking at for just the grille insert on a 2011 Camry SE? Thanks, sorry for the ramble

purchasing gap insurance is great for new vehicles because who knows what can happen in those few months of ownership, dunno if gap insurance covers stuff like that ^

so what's damaged? the black grille part?

I gave gap insurance but haven't had my call returned yet so I don't know what options I have. This is a picture that I pulled from the net but this is the only piece that was dinged, all in the dead center. scrapes on the lower portion, up the lattice, and bigger scrapes on the top lip. most of it can be buffed out but i don't even care, its getting replaced

I always fear that whenever i park. Stupid careless people
You have to pay out of pocket. The grille is around $150 I think.

Never worth it file for insurance unless the damage is very high in price to fix. Honestly I'd either buff it out or ignore it because you're gonna go broke replacing parts on a daily driver like this....tree branches, shopping carts, other drivers slamming their doors into yours, etc. I get at least one new ding every year and so far t he only time I shelled out 400 bucks to fix it was when someone managed to cut this huge gash into the bottom doorframe, with full metal exposed....had to get it rewelded and repainted.
Will probably get all my dings taken out at once since it's usually cheaper that way, when you do several dings together. I know some people do an annual touchup where they get all that years dings fixed up. You're gonna be a lot happier if you learn to love the dings lol

I look at it as an excuse to not have to wash it as often. 'course mine was a former rental car and was already beat to heck when I bought it. My last new vehicle got beat up really fast, since I lived in an apartment complex at the time, then the Border Patrol climbed all over it with a drug dog and left deep enough scratches to warrant a partial repaint. That pretty much put me off of buying new.

Gap is only useful if your vehicle is totaled and you owe more than it is worth. They pick up the difference. It has nothing to do with minor damage, that's why you have regular car insurance.
