Hey guys. So I am shopping for 18 inch rims for the 07 Camry LE since I am on steelies right now. I wanted to get tires with it too so I was looking at clublexus if anyone was selling 18inch Lexus alloys with tires, but before I buy anything I wanted to get some info. First of all, would I need the TPMS from the seller? My next question was, what does it mean if the rims are staggered? I was also wondering if anyone knew a site I can use to calculate the shipping of rims and tires to Canada?
any other tips or advice when buying wheels online?
Thanks TN

You can also try wheelsnext.com they have some good wheel + tire packages. The TPMS has to be transfered from your cars factory wheels to the new wheels. Some places will sell you them with the tires but they have to be programed I think. some people put them on without them and just ignore the warning on you dash. Staggered means the back wheels are wider than the front. So for example the front can be 18x8 and the rear 18x9.

performaceplustire.com is legit they have a store on lbc
nice, did you drive by there? or you actually bought wheels from there. lol
also on their site you can put in your car and see the wheels on it with the virtual wheels thing they have, you can lower the car and do stagger and stuff. Pretty nice to see what it looks like before buying it. check it out

i drove there and bought my first rims there always busy
Wheelsnext is great and all and they were going to be who I went with until I found out the extra fees for us Canadians. I was checking the Lexani LX-7 for $1950 tax in with Toyo Proxes upgraded tires. The brokerage fees and duties worked out to $2275. Your best bet, honestly is to check out places in Toronto. I have a guy who hooked me up with the LX-7 for LESS than the online sites charged and trust me you will not find cheaper prices from anyone anywhere if you hit my guy up. He's making it big in the west end. PM me for info.
Also to note, I got quoted that same package for $3000 elsewhere from 2 other places. It's all networking, my friend.
I dunno guys
Im so indecisive since these are the very first rims I am ever buying :P
I am leaning towards the Lexus rims
but I dont know
what would look better?
It's all your personal preference. One guy may like chrome, one guy may like hub caps haha, one guy may like a 7" deep dish machined. There's so many styles to choose from.
IMO, Lexus rims = eww. I'm saying that because if you're going aftermarket slap some damn nice wheels on there. I told you I know a guy in the west end off Islington and 401 who can hook you up real nice. Anything from racing style Enkei to luxury style Lexani's that have a sporty dubbed out look to them.
Honestly, check them out. It'd be better going with me since I've brought him business. You'd get a better deal. My LX7 retail $3300 average and I got them for just over $2000 with upgraded Toyo Proxes 225/35/20.
