possibly buying a 2009 camry se or xle

Right now i have a 2004 Avalon. I absolutly love the car, except for the looks. It has close to 125,000 miles and im thinking its time to trade it in. This week I will be test driving a 2009 Camry SE and a 2007 Avalon.
You guys have any input on what to look for?

Right now my avalon has dual climate control, auto wipers, JBL premium audio.

Im not sure how i would do going back to single climate with those knobs. I love the way the SE looks and has a sportier feel than the xle or the avalon. I guess i need someone to push me one way or the other lol. Also im 22 years old so i dont think i want another grandpa car.

I'm a 21 year old woman and I have a 2011 SE. Love it!!!! Also, my 23 year old husband much prefers my car over the XLE or an Avalon...he says the SE prevents it from becoming too grandpa-ish.

The SE can actually come with some nicer options....such as heated leather, JBL audio, 6 disc CD changer, nav, etc., but the auto climate control only comes on the XLE (and Hybrid, if I remember correct). It also comes V6 or I4.

if you can afford avalon- don't even think about camry.
I like camry, but Avalon much nicer car. even if it is not luxury car, it at least huge step up from XLE.
more room, nicer ride, nicer interior, huge trunk. I would go with Avalon Touring.
if you looking for sport, camry SE will work for you better than avalon, but if you looking for comfort and quitness, no XLE camry can match Avalon.

How much are they asking for the 09 Camry SE? I ask because I was looking at a 09 se as well and ended up with a '11 SE. They wanted 20k for the 09 (4cyl w/16k miles) and I got the '11 SE for 22k.

I have a 09 SE and love it. People say it's a girl car or older car but who cares? If you like something - go for it.

Also - especially in this economy, used cars are not the best deal price wise right now. Unless you find a STEAL offer then just buy a newer model for roughly the same price.
