Hi I was wondering what kind of amp installation kits you guys recommend using. I have a Rokford Fosgate R500-1 amp and its going to be installed on a 2007 Camry.

what gauge wire does it recommend on the amp?? i'm assuming prob 4gauge right? i'd go with kicker personally, but any amp kit will do just fine, just make sure it comes with everything you need. Knukonceptz.com has good amp kits too, ive bought form them a couple of times.

it can go up to 4 gauge, I was thinking about the Rockford Fosgate installation kit but it says the powerwire is only 17 ft. Do you think that would be long enough?

Yeah its up to you, most kit comes with 17ft-20ft power gauge wire. I think my kicker 0gauge kit came with 20ft. That should be long enough, do you have a i4 or v6? I know the v6 is a little bit more space confined and not much room to work with and run the wire compared to the i4.

ah i see, its going to be less space for you to work with then, i have a i4 so there was plenty of space to work with and run the wires, i ran it through the grommet in the firewall where the stock wires from the car was running out to the engine bay. I don't know if the v6 is the same or not though.

I am searching for a firewall location on my 2011 LE v6. Does anyone have a pic of where to run a 4 ga amp power wire through on 11' LE v6? Please advise. I've searched the forums extensively and have not been able to locate anything.

I go through a big rubber boot above the steering column, if you open your hood and look at the right side of the firewall you see a big black rubber boot that has a a bundle of wire going into the engine bay, that's where i routed my 4gauge power wire through. let me know if you need a pic.
