Gen6 Finally installed my K&N Typhoon. '08 2AZ-FE

Put my Typhoon in the other day.

The install was a bit of an adventure. I bought the kit used; some creativity was required due to some missing hardware. Other than that, easy as pie, took about an hour factoring in missing parts/critical thinking time. Luckily the rain held off just long enough to get it all together.

But, boy, was it worth it. No real power gain (duh) but better throttle response (cool) and it will get LOUD- especially over 3000 RPM (awesome).

I'm pleased. Sure is nice to hear the intake doing its thing under the hood.

K&N has a high-quality kit- great fit and finish, and sound.

Jesus... and I was annoyed about paying 3.8x for regular...

I will say I enjoy downshifting into 3rd and hammering it when merging onto a highway
