re-programming a second key

Hey everyone, my dad just gave me his second key that hasn't been used since we bought a car back in 2007. (i have a 2007 camry) and the buttons on the fob doesnt work, im wondering if someone can tell me how to program this second key? Thanks

Sounds like the battery is dead rather than a programming issue. Take it to dealership.

no the lights do not blink, and yeah perhaps dead battery, ill try to change it today thanks for the help kinda new to all this car stuff thanks again
