Centre console/lid won't open 2007 camry

Hey guys, i'm having a problem with the centre console/lid the part where you push the compartment to open (aux box area). problem is, i put my sunglasses in there and the case and i closed the lid. but now it won't open i can't push it to open the case is in the way in the inside. any ideas on how to get it to open?

Pop the 2 posts on the sides off. There will be a phillips screw on each side. Unscrew them then try to lift the entire box up a bit then try opening again.

wanted to know if the information posted was sufficient for u to solve your problem i know reading and see pictures plus nervousness of possibly breaking something can make it difficult so i found this video hope it helps
