Gen5 2005 Camry with a few issues

Hey everyone I have been lurking for some time now and finally decided to register so I can ask some questions.

I have a 2005 Camry I bought brand new. I have noticed that the mileage has been decreasing. I am hovering at about 25 MPG now. I have gotten 30 MPG ,the highest is 35 MPG. I drive 75% or more highway. I don't dog the car or accelerate quickly from the start. I do not drive aggressively. I am wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what to do? Clean the throttle body?

It has almost 44000 miles on it. I change the oil every 3000 miles or so,will be switching to synthetic for a longer interval. I have changed the oil, air filter, and did a drain and fill on the transmission fluid.I am new to doing things to my car, so if you recommend something I may need a link to a how to.

My 2004 V6 averages about 25/27 in town and highway driving. My wife and I both drive with a very light touch on the accelerator pedal. I have seen 29/30 on longer trips. I think part of the problem around here is the E-10 ethanol blend which is rated at 89 RON octane. Regards.

My guesses are the driving habit change (more city driving than highway), and/or gassing up the car is now more painful so more noticeable, and not sure if it's in affect yet but ethanol % in gas will increase to 10% so our mpg will drop a bit, and than there is Shell trying to add more detergent and "nitrogen enrich" into Shell gas so you are getting less 'gas' than normal.

Our gas is 10% year round due to pollution control...I actually drove more highway this time, so I was like this doesn't add up.

I finally did something I have been meaning to do for years... I seafoamed the car just a little while ago... I cannot believe how much smoke came out of the exhaust and for how long it did so..Had to be over 5 minutes... I jumped on the highway and let it rip for about 5 miles.. It stopped smoking and car seemed to be running better... Maybe its placebo affect...

Now I just have to figure out how to clean the MAF
