Want to add always on 12v circuit, 05 Camry

I'm tired of the power going off on the 12V/cig lighter when I turn the car off. What is the best way to either add a circuit or change the 12v and/or cig light to always be hot?

Use one connection from a (+) always hot source to a relay then to a terminal strip. You can almost ground anywhere on the chassis so that is not of concern.

try this

This is how i fixed the dead cigarette lighter in my old 1988 nissan pickup. I simply bypassed the dead socket and its wiring.

i wanted a hot connection all the time because i wanted to use a solar battery charger. I did not want to spend hours or days rooting around under the dash and this was an easy and safe solution.
just go to the fuse box and find a connection that is hot all the time (your Volt ohmeter can tell you whats a good one - pick a connection that uses the same amps as the cigarrete lighter). and use the fuse tap (that's the proper name for them).
then you can just run your wires under the dash and to a new cigarrete lighter connection. It took me all of 45 minutes and no controtionist work under the dash either.
Be sure and splice in a fuse holder and fuse in the hot wire, same amps as the circuit of course.
