I messed up

So I removed the plastic cover on my 2005 Camry, I cleaned it up because I spilled oil all over the thing. I put the bolts back on and yep the one on the right snapped. I also lost the rubber thing up in the left hand corner.

First question how do I go about replacing this bolt I snapped off?

Second question is what do I ask for to replace the rubber part that went missing?

Yeah the engine covering made out of plastic, and yes somehow I managed to over torque the nut, funny thing was I barely tightened it and it snapped... I broke it though no doubt...

My camera wouldn't work so I used someone's photos and just circled what I was talking about.

Snapped the bolt on the right...I am missing the rubber piece that covers the other bolt on the upper left.
The bolt is still protruding.

Alright, the rubber cover you don't really need to worry about...

Is the actual engine cover loose? Shut the hood and see if it vibrates when you drive... one bolt should be fine... the cover is basically just there for looks anyway.

Use channellocks to remove the broken off stud. Toyota should be able to supply a replacement. Use a double nut to install the new threaded stud. An alternative would be to try and find a long enough metric bolt and cut the hex head off. Regards.

Since the body of the bolt is still protruding through the cover, could you not use a washer and nut to tighten the cover down? It won't look as pretty but it would be functional and keep the cover from vibrating; and be a faster and cheaper fix.

I was just going by when he said:

If the bolt is still protruding, then he can use a nut.
