Gen6 dying battery or remote start wiring issue?

This morning I used my smart start remote starter, my phone said the start command was sent to my car. However when I got to my car, it was off, couldn't unlock battery seemed dead. I manually unlocked the door to throw my stuff in the car and I shut the door and all of a sudden it started (remote starter) and my clock and radio were reset. The clock said 1:00 not 12:00, it was also 38f outside when this happened. Does this sound like a remote starter/wiring issue or a dying battery? This is a 2009 camry

The easiest check starts with the battery. Get your volt meter out and see how the battery looks. Should be sitting there with 12.6 volts or better. If 12.2 volts or less, then yes, it is not charged or is not holding a charge. Start the engine and check voltage again. With ac off, it should be showing around 14.1-14.5 volts--somewhere in that ballpark. If less than 13.7 volts then the alternator is suspect.

if the car start than it doesn't sound like it's battery. It sound like a short to cause things to lose power from the battery. I think when you close the door it cause enough vibration for the short to un-short giving power back.

My concern is why was it able to start the car, but I wasn't able to unlock the car with the keyless remote? why didn't my alarm sound when I manually unlocked, and no lights and the car automatically starting somehow when I shut the door (didn't use a key or jumper so its started from the remote starter) and my clock/radio got reset.

If it's a short any suggestion on where to look? No new electronics have been installed lately, and everything appears to be fully operational.
