2003 camry sportivo multi information display

hi guys,the mid has gone blank,no light,no numbers(time,cruse control settings )just a black screen.if i press and hold the mode button i hear a ping but nothing happens.does the mid have its own fuse or does it work of another system,cant seem to be able to locate fuse on fuse panel under steering column.can the mid be reset,if its not the fuse what other areas should i be looking at, any help would be appreciated.cheers springer111

Did you find a solution to this issue? Mine has done the same thing. I have checked all fuses and connections, so I think the unit itself may have decided to sh!t itself.

about 6 weeks after i posted the thread the mid started to work again and is still working. have not got a clue to why it stopped working,maybe a loose or dry connection?
