2010 Camry SE Rear Bumber and Rear Lower Spoiler Discoloration

Has anyone noticed on their Camry Se that the rear bumper is significantly different colored than the rest of the car...mine almost looks brown/orange. The dealership said that they repainted it before I bought the car and they have agreed to redo it but I do not want the same shitty job done again! Do you think I should live with it or get it redone? I don't want them mad at me for asking them to redo it...What would you do...when I take pics there is no noticibale difference, but when I went to my local Toyota and autobody shop they both agreed that it was orange peeling and definately a different tint.

If they have already agreed to re-do it, then why not? Just make a different shop do the painting this time.

I would definately ask the dealer to have some other shop do the painting this time. Try to find one that has been recommended through Automobile Association in your area. They really check up on their shops to make sure the service is top quality.

I have noticed the same issue on nearly all Camrys with repainted panels. But some other forum members have also mentioned that the bumper and spoilers tend to be made of a different material than the rest of the body panels on the car eventually causes the paint to look different over time.

My Blue Ribbon Metallic car has a slightly different color to the rear bumper and reflects light differently (slightly hazy looking) than the trunk lid and fenders.
