Suction cups and window tint

Hey all //

Little man needs some shade. Will suction cups pull window tint?

Tint will be 1 year come July.

Thanks!

M

YES, suction cups will lift the film from the glass. Check with your tint installer.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. We found a static cling that attaches to the window. Will give this a try.

I find it humorous that even after tint I still need a sun blocker.

I dont think suction cups will remove tint. I've seen tint installers put some effort into removing tints and I mean put some strength into pulling it off the window.

It won't remove the tint, but if there is any dirt on the cups or window it could mark the tint leaving permanent suction cup rings on it.

Thanks all!

Good to know, I did pick up some static cling shades for the window. If those fail i'll try the suction cup ones.

I don't know about any one else but it sure as heck did on our car. I was doing the same thing (sun shade for Sydney) and had to remove in a day or two. The tint has been on for a few years so maybe that has a lot to do with it, but it sure did pull it loose
