2010 Camry - Activate Sat Radio?

Hello,

I have just been issued a 2010 Camry LE by my employer. I am a big fan of satellite radio and have a subscription from a former vehicle. I see that the standard radio in my Camry has a SAT buttom (same button as AM), however nothing happens at all when I press SAT. Would anyone know if there is anyway to activate SAT radio in this vehicle, or does the fact that nothing happens when I press the button mean that it is not possible in this vehicle?

Thanks!

EW

You'll need the "fit kit" and receiver for satellite radio. It usually runs about $250 for the parts, and then you'll have to get it installed.

Depends on the package you're looking to get. The XM "Everything" package is $12.95. You can break it up, there are some packages as low as $7.95 a month, etc. Although if you call them up and demand a deal 9 times out of 10 they'll give it to you.

I can't tell you 100%, because both sites are blocked on my work computer, but as long as you get the fit kit and receiver, you're good.

Has anyone had the satellite radio installed and if so did you need to use the magnetic antenna that comes with the kit or is the vehicles antenna sufficient?
