Auto climate control

I know these has been talked about in many posts and burnt to hell but I wanted to see if any body has RECENTLY tried to install the auto climate control on a non auto climate car? I know you need a sensor and the harness is different but you never know if someone has done it or tried and never posted it. Don't burn me please BTW I ask because I have done a similar conversion on a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon I had whit the help of a DIY in a Hyundai forum and it turned out great. YES I DID SEARCH the DIY section lol

I think someone has done this in the Corolla section. I have a feeling no one here has done it because it's a major PITA, and trying to get the parts is very expensive. And then once you get the parts you're going to tear apart half your car. BUT, since you have some experience, and you're willing to spend the $$$, why not try it yourself and write up a DIY for anyone else who's thought about it?
