program camry remote to lower power windows?

I don't know if it's possible to do with camry's I know nissan has that feature where if you hold the unlock button on the remote the windows come down.

Is there a way to program the camry remote to do that? I know with those usb odbII readers that you connect to your computer that you can do a few things to it. Like my friend does with his audi.

But yea if anyone has any info on if that can be done aside from maybe buying some security system that has that feature then i'd appreciate it. Thanks

Does it have that feature on the XLE or XLE v6 model?

I do not see that function on the 09 SE via Techstream Toyota Diagnostic Tool.

I don't know, don't know all the features of an XLE. I only know of Nissan having this feature, i don't know if toyota (any models) can do this. Just trying to figure out if it can in some way.

This can be done for sure on the new 4Runner, and I think (don't quote me on this), the Highlander.

Well, by the time I can use it I'm almost next to the car. Sure I can roll it down and stand there look funny for a few minutes. Or just get in, roll down the window and drive off. Roll up the window when I hit the highway.

I find the get in and go better than standing there and have ppl look at me waiting to see if I'm going to hijack my own car.

^ I park about 5 steps from my work's front door. By the time the window is down I would be next to the car. Sure it save about 2 sec as to when I roll down the window while inside the car. I prefer to save that battery juice for some other stuff.

Again, do as U wish but in my experience it's only useful as show off. I prefer installing the iPhone starter. You start up the car and the AC running before you leave wherever you were. I'm talking about the one the woman start her car at home while she was at the airport.

valid points. but the heat generated in an all black interior car really adds up. i get hot way too easily and i'm sweating bullets as soon as i sit down in the summer. If i can have the window down before i get to it. it helps.

If i do get remote start then yea i'll leave the ac on or heat on and start up the car in the summer/winter to make the temps nice before i get in.

cool feature with nice applications. allowing the windows to roll down i don't see as being very taxing on a battery. given the fact that you already have the trunk open, alarm, lock and unlock options to begin with. Batteries don't go out easily and doesn't the alternator help recharge it to begin with? so yea don't think it's a waste.

Don't think its doable with OEM keyfob. I know you can install aftermarket alarm/remote start to be programmed to do that. If people want to crack the window open during the summer heat, get window visors and crack the window open.

I saw on TV saying the Prius have a visor with fan that is powered by solar, is that true? How does the Prius do it that is not visible? Maybe do something along that line. It's better than having a window visor that you can't remove and it create a low wind resistance when driving high speed.
