Gen 5... BBK... Say What??

Sooo after keeping this a secret for a few months.... I finally made it to Adams(ASG14) to have it installed......

This is the only Gen 5 Camry that has a BBK (he did a test fit on his moms Gen 5.5)..

Supra TT Brembo blanks

Gen 3 Camry Twin Piston Calipers.

Here are a few pics, i will do better ones later, we were out til 11:30 working on it (by we i mean Adam ).. After the 8 hour drive and being up since 5am i was pretty much out of it..

Thank you Rob (bigbird) for the parts and a big thank you to Adam for installing and doing the rest of the shit you're gonna do to it today....

HOLY CRAP! Same as my car, brakes lock up a tad before ABS is able to kick in, wow.

It;s the same BBK as us Gen 3/4 guys have been using for years. Just no one ever knew it worked on the Gen 5.

There is a bracket that has to be made and the guy that makes them has stopped making them... So basically...i will probably be the only Gen 5 with a BBK...

Unless you find a kit for sale by a Gen 3/4 guy.

ah, I see! if i had the bracket to model in Pro E (CAD software), i could probably get it made at a machine shop.

Ignore the dirt.... that is from a lot of driving from Ontario

Also forgot to mention, these only fit with 17" or bigger rims and it also depends on the rim design...
