There are high/low converters out there that have a built in relay that supplies a remote output when it reads a singal from your speaker line input. The problem with using the ACC wire, is that
sometimes you get feedback when you turn off the radio and your car is still running, your subs will send out a loud tone until you turn your radio back on or shut off the car. If your car doesn't do that then the ACC wire is fine to use. I would strongly recommend using a relay just in case in the event that your amp arcs and sends a ground to the head unit. If you use a relay you can wire it up as so: 85 goes to ACC, 86 goes to GROUND, 87 goes to FUSED 12V CONSTANT, and 30 goes to your amp.
