Where to tie kayak down in front on 2010 Camry?

Hey guys, where/what can be used as a tie down spot for my kayaks on the front of a 2010 Camry LE car?

I searched the forum, and one poster mentioned towing hooks, but I don't think the American bumpers have an access hole for the hooks.

Is there an alternate location?

I looked at the front bumper for about 10 minutes and didn't see a suitable spot to tie a rope around. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll go take a look, I don't recall any tow hooks, not even under the car, so everything might be hidden away.

What kind of roof rack do you have? Looking into one.

I have a Thule rack that I just installed yesterday. However, I'm not very impressed with the Thule "fit kit" for the Camry. The front feet of the rack fit nicely in the rain channel, but the back feet just sit on the roof and can slide if I pull on the bar hard enough. I have a Thule rack on my Cavalier (the Camry is my wife's car), as well a Thule rack on our old Malibu, and both of those seemed more sturdy.

With that said, I'm not sure if the Yakima would be better for this car, but maybe someone can chime in who has experience with both.

Also, if anyone finds that tow hook on the Camry, please let me know. There has to be something, right? What if your car needs to be pulled out of a ditch or something?

It you have a J VIN camry (Japan built) you should be able to use the factory tie down hooks.
