2009 Hybrid Cup Holder irritation......

I have looked for the answers to my cup holder question already, but there are thousands of threads on this site, and I haven't found what I am looking for yet. So if this is a duplicate post, I apologize.

I have a 2009 Camry Hybrid, and I HATE my cup holders! I bought it used from a Toyota dealer, and I have to imagine that the car is lacking some sort of insert to hold a beverage container upright. With my current set up, every time I accelerate or brake a little too aggressively, my drink tips over and makes a mess. I have looked online for cup holders, and I have been unsuccessful. Where can I obtain this mysterious cup holder insert?? Someone please help!!

Is there anything in the middle of the two cup holders? If not, than you're missing an insert. Go to the dealership and let them know and you can purchase. Or go to a junk yard and see if they have any wrecked Camry's

Can that cup holder "flex" piece be removed completely? I would like to know so I can remove it in my 2011 in order to fit my camelbak in it!

Yes u should be able to just pull it up.

I agree... even with insert firmly in place this cupholder design Blows!
