Cabin filter - airflow direction?

Changing the cabin filter.
The factory filter is labeled UP with an arrow.
The replacement filter is labeled Airflow also with an arrow.
It would seem the airflow is Down, can anyone confirm?

My manual shows the UP should be pointing UP.

My 04LEs cabin air filter is installed with arrow pointing up. Regards

you guys are all right....but be careful with after market air filters...i've seen where the filter had to be pointed down....but look at the filter there should be lettering and arrows pointing in which direction the airflow should be.

Hondas should arrows point down
Toyotas should arrow points up

i have a 09 and when i took the oem filter out it had the up arrow pointing up, then i got a replacement the aftermarket frambreeze one from walmart and it said air flow with arrow pointing down, so i just put it down because the air flow is coming from top to bottom.

That is the way I see it, the airflow is down.

The factory filter simply said up with an arrow. The best install instruction.

The aftermarket throws in the confusion by printing Airflow and the arrow. That being the case, the arrow should point down with this aftermarket filter.
