TPMS camry work on avalon rims?

Just a quick question. Will the tpms of my 2007 camry le steelies fit 2007 17 in avalon rims.Em putting the avalon rims on my car and from my research it looks like they're both made by pacific. The shop said they're not sure if they will fit till they try them to see if angle fits, but I think they may just want me to purchase new ones.. Any1?

They're usually all the same. Ask if the shop you're going to is able to program/ link them to your car. It's best to do it with them off the wheels as I believe you need the numbers printed on the units.

What I do when I have a question like this is to go to any online Toyota parts dealer's website (or an aftermarket website) and check to see if the part numbers for both cars are the same.

If you wanted to swap the wheels from the SE to LE or vice versa (or even just the sensors) you would need to go to the dealer and have them reprogrammed to your car. If not you will have a blinking and then solid tire light. This is because the LE for example will be looking for the sensors programed to the LE. When it looks for them and doesn't find them (because you have SE wheels on) it sets a trouble code for each one it didn't find and you get a blinking then steady tire light.

Not only did the trnsfer of the TPMS from my original 16" steel wheels work just fine ...... the improvement in appearance and hanlding by moving to 17" Avalon wheels makes this in my opinion the best upgrade for the money available on a gen 6 LE.
