Installing door sill tweeters in 2007 Camry

Hi everyone:

I'm in the process of upgrading my 2007 LE's sound system. I am keeping the stock HU, linking it with a Cleansweep and an Alpine MRP-f300 4 channel amp. I have installed Alpine type S 6x9 speakers in the rear deck and 6.5 inch Infinity references in the front doors (not too impressed with them).

Here's what I'm thinking. I am using the rear deck speakers for mid - low end frequency reproduction. The sound image isn't very good - I do not feel surrounded by sound. Since tweeters in the dash, right against the windshield isn't the ideal location, I would like to replace them with a small mid range speaker. Any recommendations?

I was also thinking of installing a second set of speakers in the doors - along the grey sill below the window. Has anyone done this? How did you cover them up?

i installed my tweeters on the black cover part on the doors on the other side of the mirrors.

Thanks - What model tweeter did you use? Was it worth the effort?
