huge clunk right front wheel

I get a humongous clunk when i turn left and hit the lip of a drive way from time to time. speed is def. a factor in the severity of the clunk.

it makes no noise when i lift or compress the side, or shimmy it left and right.

ideas?

screw that! If you're not fast, you're last.

at any rate, i wonder if i was overloading the left front and topping out the suspension. what's the max stroke on an XLE? i should perhaps look at a lift with stronger rate springs...

Not 100% sure but clinking noise isn't suppose / related with Front control arm or bushing?

I am not really sure what you're saying here. Please improve your sentence structure, or speak your native language.

let me say it again: When I take a left turn corner hard and i hit a bump, i hear a massive clunk.

what is the stroke of the front suspension? ANYONE?

From my experiance it's the outer tie-rod. Jack the the front up so so the wheel is off the ground on the suspected side and then try to move it back and forth with your hands at the 3 and 9 position, excessive movement points to the tie-rod, if you have have a friend or if you can see around the back of the wheel you can see the tie-rod when you do it.
