TPMS bypass

I found a thread on the Yaris forum about defeating/ bypassing the TPMS module above the glove box. Is the module in the same location in the Camry? Will this work with the 2011 Camry? I had a tire replaced 2 months ago. My light came on 2 days ago, blinking then steady. The manual says this means a fault in the system. I suspect the changed tire sensor may be the problem. I am about 1K from the 10K service interval but closer to my NYS inspection. Anyone know if this light will result in a failed inspection? After searching the net it looks like it should be a Pacific sensor.

Tpms

Yes, I pushed the button several times and even held in in for a minute but no change. The light blinks for about a minute then steady. Repeats each on off ignition switch cycle.

Same thing happened to me, i had my 4 tires replaced and later during the week the light came on blinked for 1 min and stayed on, like the manual says something in the tpms is messed up. So i took my car to the dealer they said it was just the weather changing is what caused it. Then came on again so i took it back and they replaced the tpm sensors under warranty. Then it happened again and they replaced the TPMS module along the pillars near the back of the windshield and it never came back on since. I believe it was the left pillar.
