do i really have 2 take apart my whole console to install radio? seems a bit much? bought it from crutchfield and illustration it came with says thats the wy to do it? theres gotta be an easier way! i have a 2011 camry se
nope no easier way and its not the whole console just the middle part, thats the only way to do it, ive done it several times and i can get everything apart in 5 mins now. lol

lol know this feeling^^ its not as hard as it seems really. its just 2 philips screws, 4 10mm bolts, and the rest is clips.

haha it really is not as hard as it looks, and yes only a few screws and the rest is clips just becareful when your pulling them off. Which dashkit did you get? Metra or sosche? Metra is better, i heard sosche the color doesn't match and gaps. Check out my car domain links for pics of my double din.

haha i can remove the door panels in 2 mins, since i did it so much. If thats what your referring too right the door panels? Here's the diy though:
Its held on by 3 screws, 1 push in clip and the rest are clips. I start pulling it from the bottom and work my way up. Once you get the door panel off, you gotta unplug the master switch, unhook the door lock switch and the door handle, and unplug the door light on the bottom.

radio looks sweet!! are those XLE rims? was thinkin about doing that to mine. oh and its sosche.. looks the same color.ill have 2 put them next 2 each other..

Anytime i take the door panel off i roll the windows down so its easier to put back and work with. Yes i start from the top and work my way down, the top part is a little tricky to put back on because the metal clips has to clip onto the door itself, i usually start from the right side and then work my way to the left.
