Reliability stats for Camry?

I am looking at the upcoming 2012 Toyota/Lexus product lines and wondering if there are any numbers that point the best overall reliability predictions for a particular model (Camry or otherwise).

Predicting reliability of a non-existent auto(2012) is nothing more than a guessing game.

I don't care what make/model you are taking about - you can ask 1000 owners about their experiences with that vehicle and get many different responses.

The news media gutted Toyota for numerous issues and 1000s of owners never experienced any of the problems reported. The Obama admin(union ties) went after Toyota(non-union).

I think you have to look at the overall history of a particular model.

Camry.....pretty darn good history.

With all the recalls and CEO Akio Toyoda saying that quality has gone down and he will bring it back,I think the Generation 7 Camry will be a better Camry than the 6th generation.

I agree. Just remember that usually the first model year of a car will have some glitches that are commonly fixed by the 2nd model year.

The Camry has always been a reliable car, I would expect the 7th gen to be that way as well.
