Upper Intake Resonator

does anyone know how to remove this? I am looking for a bit of a louder sounding intake without having to put buy a k&n or fujita!

any info would be great and anyone who has done this will be better!

ok i took my upper resonator out today and noticed it had like 5 air holes in it between the throttle body and the actual airbox. did anyone plug these holes? if so with what? what is the reason for them? any advantages if plugged?

the little hose is a vacuum hose for the valve... im not to sure but when i did my custom pipe from a fellow member here, i used it too to keep it close to stock w/o plugging anything. but the little hose is functional to the valve for the shorter air travel when reaching higher RPMs

you can get most of it at Oreilley or pepboys or any parts store, just bring in the factory small hose so they can match, all you need is one ruler length and cut it to about 8inch about or long enough so it reaches. The pipe, i advise ordering from summit cause the one in the picture is a plastic one by spectre but there is aluminum spectre you can get, 22 degree elbow pipe. Sound wise, just a little bit of sound but no where close to a performance cause there are still a little bit sound restriction in the intake box and down pipe, but it looks cleaner, you also have to cut the intake pipe to length too, its custom
