Shifter Knob MT to AT?

Hi, I was wondering if I could replace my regular Camry LE shifter knob with this one. My Camry is an Automatic Transmission and This Shifter is a Manual. I was wondering if I could just place it on there or would I have to do some rewiring on it?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-L...item4aab61ff44

Thanks.

It should work, just unscrew the stock one and screw on the new trd shift knob. only thing is that on the new shift knob it will have the gear label on the top. someone please correct me if im wrong.

It will have the gear label on top, and you can't use a shift knob from a 2010-2011 Camry because of the reverse lockout. I don't know what the ebay post says because it's blocked on my work computer, but that's just an fyi.

And I also don't know offhand if it will work, either, never had anyone try it before.

I'll save you some embarrassment, please don't... its an auto, leave it that way. If you want a new knob, get an auto knob.

Only one seller sells the TRD shifter that will fit the automatics. I got one at the dealer and had to return it because it didnt fit. It wouldnt screw in. It needs to have the chrome trim piece on the bottom like this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRD-2...Q5fAccessories This one will fit our camrys but it only comes in black and is $112.50 plus $12.50 for shipping

I wonder who that is... and why would anyone spend $100+ for a shift knob.
