discovering new things

i dont kno about anyone else but i keep finding new things with my camry.just found out i have remote start.anyone else finding random new things?ive had the car a little over 6 months but was out of the country for 4 months so i guess its not as sad

mines 07 se v6.i was just cleaning out my glove box and found a vip card so i googled and it said to press unlock twice then one more time and hold it.bam it started....

I saw these post and jump t out of bed took my car keys and tried it and BAMMMMM nothing happened

Noup I got it new on 09 whit 3 miles on it but I never heard of remote start before and sales man never mention it to me. Was these an option?

Press 3 times and the 4th press and hold down until it starts?

No, press it twice and the 3rd time hold it for 3 secs....remote start is a option, i had it installed in my 11 SE for 400 at the dealer.

lol I thought the window option didn't work for our cars? It worked on my older Benz from short distance (infrared), and it works on all the Lexus vehicles..

OP's car must have had it installed before he bought it.

It's not exactly Toyota. But I give it a shot anyway, worst case it'd roll down my windows and BAMMMMMMM that's what it did.

I did discovered 1 thing, inside my keyless is a little paper label. I pulled it out and in the back are 2 instructions on how to start my car. First instruction say press the start button, second instruction said put in park and press the start button. Stupid but oh well.

And than I confirm something I've read. I pulled out my keyless start remote and walked up to my car, the light blinks when I was next to the car.

You dont do research and see what your getting for your 30k+? I compared every make and comparable model before i bought 07 V6 XLE Camry without nav got it for 29.5k out the door in jul 06'. not knockin just asking.
