Battery Terminal Replacement

I had an issue with the fuzz on the battery post. Got a new battery, but didn't repair the battery cable terminal. Can I use a standard type terminal or do I should I use the Toyota terminal. Dealer wants 20 bucks for replacement. Sounds like way too much. Could I just use the Standard Terminal?

The battery posts are an industry standard. I would use a new cable. Cote the battery connections with a dialectic grease such as silicone. I spray my bottery terminals with Eastwood Anti-Rust which is a wax like product that prevents corrosion. You want the battery terminals clean before making the connections. Don't tighten the bolts too much. These connections only take about 3 or 4 foot pounds of torque. Snug them up with and open end wrench.
