Ive spent HOURS upon hours searching this site regarding aftermarket Navi's, since costar is gone, and there are so many chinese options out there......I think Ive settled on this, just wondering if anyone has this exact unit( only found bills07le but he doesnt really talk about it in his thread)...
Thanx much

I don't have this unit, but I wish I did. lol. The User Interface looks really good. Most look very cartoonish. I especially like the radio channel selection screen. It hit's everything on my list. GPS, TV, Bluetooth, iPod interface, DVD playback, USB/SD slot plus it's got a 6 disk changer (most are single.) The only thing I see that I could think of that is missing is that the CD player doesn't accept .ACC format (or it least it doesn't list it), which is what iTunes normally stores music as. Of course if you are using this format, then chances are you have an iPod and aren't burning many CD's. Especially if you can play your iPod from the screen like a CD would anyway. Don't run your iPod cable like they did though. That looks stupid. Once you put this in your stock AUX IN in the cubbyhole under the AC is pretty much useless, so take it out and run your iPod cable through that hole. I also like that it is lighted for the buttons and the fitment looks pretty good. It's a good price too. I say go for it.
Another thing is that I am not sure if you need a digital TV convertor for the PAL/NTSC system. I have this on mine, but I have never even hooked up the antennas to check. And if you have the JBL sound system from the factory, you will need the PAC TATO harness.
The interface is what I prefered as well, some of the newer esp. 8"ones just look cheesy w all the 3d graphics and backgrounds, I want clean and easy to navigate. I just have the stock (read crap) radio as I couldnt even find a jbl equiped SE in upstate NY once toyota announced the 0.0% for 60 months.....Thought about the digi tuner, but I dont think id really used it for a couple over the air channels...As for cds, I cant remember the last time I even bought or burned one as I usually hook up the ipod or Pandora thru the android...

Did you ever get the unit? What do you think of it? How is the build quality? Sound quality?
Bump on this thread. I'm interested in this unit as well. Mostly regarding the sound quality. The pictures make it seem good. How is the sound compared to the OEM JBL unit?
Seems nice. The menu navigation is rather slow and laggy however, and that's a huge deal-breaker. The buttons also "sound cheap", when he pushes them. Not like the OEM smooth buttons atleast.
