So i ordered new Bulbs for my DDM 55w kit. im going from 5k to 6k and when i replace them they burn my fuses. ive tried both sets of bulbs they sent me but it does the same thing. Anybody have any clue why this can be occurring??? wouldnt mind getting it installed before i can call tech support on monday. THX

You failed to mention the size of fuse that they are destroying. I hope if you are using bulbs rated at 55 watts that you are running them from a relay. You can temporarily increase the fuse size only to turn them on and see what it takes to not blow, but put them back to stock for obvious fire and safety reasons. If in fact they are actually drawing more than 55 watts, then the heat dissipation will likely destroy the housing, so be careful. A 35 watt setup is much more prudent.

Yea I'm running a relay on them and the Fuse is a 15. They been running perfect with my 5k bulbs and don't really get to hot. The old halogens ran hotter

relay...and still blowing a fuse? are you connected by a relay and also stock harness? i'm drawing power directly from the battery with a 30amp fuse and dont need the stock harness

It's cool thx I got in touch with DDM. 2 of the bulbs r defective that's what was causing the blown fuses.
