Different kind of Spring Question: Raising the Camry

This is different kind of spring question than usual. Basically I need stiffer rear springs without lowering it, or taller springs in the back. A little background. I have an 04 4cly Camry, with 250K miles on the clock. I have a hitch and that bit that goes under the tail pipe is always dragging, even when unloaded. I regularly carry at least 4 people in the car, and that just exacerbates the problem. It's even worse when towing with either stuff in the car or stuff on the roof rack.

I've looked high and low, all of the springs that are stiffer, also lower the car, which would make it worse. From what I can tell, the ES and the V6s all share the same spring. I guess my question is, does someone make a spring that is stiffer or taller, or will the springs/struts from a highlander or another Camry based CUV work?

^agreed, coilovers.

most coilovers allow you to customize the spring rates, so you can go as stiff as you want in the rear, without sacrificing ride height. my bc coilovers allow me to go nearly to stock height down to very very low (which i don't, because i like to be able to drive my car).

Also you can use polyurethane inserts, they go between shock mounts and body. Some of them 2.5” tall.
4x4 customizing shops can make and install them. You also will need longer screws and alignment.

I've thought about coilovers, but my camry does have 250K miles on the clock so I can't really see making that big of an investment. That's why I was looking at just different springs.
