Gen5 APX (SENSEN) Gen 5 Struts... Anyone tried them?

I've been pricing out struts for my 2005 SE V6 and after looking around I gathered that only Toyota, KYB, and Monroe made replacement struts for the Camry but a buddy of mine found these on ebay and they are super cheap and claim to be comparable to KYB. Anyone have any insight on them? At this price I would love to try em but I dont want to buy garbage parts either and waste my money on parts and the install.

I'd personally stick with KYB...

Super cheap = super cheap quality

This is not place to go with the low bidder. KYB or Bilstein if they make one for your car. The OEM are also a good quality strut.

considering theyre less than 1/2 the cost of kyb, there has to be a gap in quality

I disagree with the others who responded to you in regards to the APX struts. I am familiar with the Sensen brand of shocks and struts that they sell. They are a dual chamber, gas charged product similar to KYB and they use the same NOK, Japanese-made seals that are in KYBs. They come with a lifetime warranty which makes it easier to take the risk.

Anybody has any more info on this. Now rockauto has listed these and at $40 they seem to be a bargain. A lot of rave reviews on bimmer forums. After getting non-matching KYB's (and returning them), I am considering these.
