head light issue

I have a 2007 toyota camry se, on my front headlights where the bulb connects to headlight assembly it is broken and no longer holds the bulb in place. Do I need to replace the entire headlamp or is there a way to fix this. currently using electrical tape. Thanks ahead of time.

I think the burn is really bad. Even though you can find a used headlight to switch out the back cover (I doubt it can be done, but just try), you can't ensure the proper seal to prevent moisture coming in. If you want a proper installation of a bulb (good cut-off and beam pattern) and free of condense later, you should buy a new headlight.

It looks like the bulb caused this. What type of bulb is that? Did you properly install it?

^ it's not so hard. Just need to remove the front bumper to get access to all the screws and pop out the headlight unit.
