USA 07 LE Tail light issue

Hi I am having an issue with my left tail light. The left brake light (lower left corner) is not coming on. I initially thought it was a burned out bulb, but after switching the left and right bulbs and checking all the fuses, the left break light remains off.

I recently installed HID Xenon lights for my front low-beans but I don't think that was the cause. I also installed a Pioneer in-dash navigation unit and PAC SWI-PS steering remote myself. I had to tap into the VSS (speed sensor) and steering control wires in the dash. I also poked around the driver-side kick panel looking for the rear shift wire but unable to locate it. Maybe I accidentally disconnected the cable to the left rear brake light. Does anyone know what it looks like?

I also briefly checked the harness for brake light. It seems to be in excellent shape w/o any corrosion.

Can someone point me to what else to check? Your help is much appreciated.

Check the loom of wires by the driver's side trunk hinge. All generations of Camry use this same loom attached to the hinge. Eventually the wires inside there frey and break from all the flexing they are exposed to as the trunk is constantly opened and closed. It's a bit early in your 07's life for this to happen, but I would still open that loom and check it for freyed or broken wires, just to be safe.
