I haven't had that problem yet, knock on wood!

What did you end up using to cover up the ss? I let my JB weld sit overnight and then some to ensure everything is well set. Sounds like something is melting. I wouldn't use your lights until you figure things out to prevent a fire.. D:

^ aluminum do burn. You can try it with the aluminum foil, u'll see it do burn.

I agree, U need to find the cause of that smoke.

I bent the metal inside down, I don't know how it still shows a bit but not enough to blind ppl.

Smoke is just a step away from flames, so exercise good judgement.

Ok I took my lights out AGAIN to figure out the problem! Turned out to be the pieces of metal I used felloff the kb weld never welded for me! So what I did was dump out the piece of metal that was now loose in my projector and cleaned up the scraps as much as I could, I then took a scfewdri er and bent down the piece of metal above the bent down squirrel spotted so now there is no gap I turned on my heads for about 20 mundane NO SMOKE! Now I need to wait till it's dark to see how it turned out!

I also threw some silverstar ultras in my fogs and took the old fogs and put them in my heads, the old heads were shot because of the kb weld!

I have two sets of HID bulbs that I don't use anymore in 6000k and 8000k. LMK if you want them.

Or did you do the SS mod for halogens??

H9 produces about 2100 lumens, while H11 produces 1300 lumens. Their prices are not much different (probably the same; you can google it). An H9 bulb, of course, will have shorter life span than an H11 bulb.

There is some glare, but a lot better than using HID.
