2003 LE Sunroof Repair
I'm hoping that somebody who has repaired and/or removed a sunroof in a Kentucky built Gen 5 Camry can help me.
I need to replace a Removeable Roof Hinge, and possibly the Sliding Lift Arm and Roof Drip Channel Guide on the passenger side of my 2003 LE. I am working from ALLDATADIY instructions that lead me to believe that TMMK sunroofs can be removed without removing the headliner (which would be necessary if it were a TMC car).
But I think the instructions must be wrong, or perhaps I'm just confused. Can anyone who has done this verify that the repair can be made without removing the headliner, or if not, give me an idea of how long it takes deal with the headliner? Would I really have to take out all the seats and everything, or can I skip those preliminary steps if I'm not actually removing the headliner from the vehicle?
