Need help please (hissing sound A/C)

There is a hissing noise when the A/C is on in my 2010 XLE Camry. When I close the driver side air vent (left side of steering wheel) the noise stops. When I re-open it it starts again. I took it in to get it looked at the toyota dealership and it was not making the noise. It happens about 50% of the time when the A/C is on.

What could be the problem I have 5000 miles left on my warranty and need it fixed before that.

It's the ionizer in the air vent. All XLE's have them. It only works when the system is not in recirculate mode. The ionizer freshens the air. Depending on the moisture content in the air, it might sound like a hissing snake. More moisture equals more hissing.
