Gen6 Tein Lowering Springs Noise Problem 11 Camry SE

Ok so its been about 2 weeks now i have had my Tein Lowering Springs on my car with My 20 Inch Wheels 20x8.5 +32 just for reference and I seem to be having a little problem with it nothing major but just really annoying i dont know if any of you fellow toyotanation members got this problem. everytime I turn out of a driveway or just turn into a street or anything that has to do with the car flexing I hear something popping on top of the roof of my car. as if the hole top of my car is flexing and making a weird creaking/popping noise. LOL I understand the springs are stiffer then the OEM and i understand that is probably the chassis or the frame just flexing but hearing a weird sound on top of the roof by the sunroof area is weird idk its my first so if any of you have that same problem or if its normal just let me know. I would appreciate the help.

The creaking/popping is probably the springs spinning/rotating when you turn the wheel. My k-Sport coilovers did the same thing until i ordered their anti-squeak kit, which was just a plastic washer sandwiched between 2 metal washers, but it worked. Later I found out about thrust bearings that help with that same problem. I've never tried them, but I would think they would do a better job than what I have. Here's a link so you can see what I'm talking about:

I hope that helps.

They are universal. Just make sure you get the same diameter as your springs. You should use 2 washers and 1 bearing on the top and bottom of each spring. Unfortunately the only way to put them in is to take them all the way apart. I didn't want to take my whole setup apart either so I waited until my shocks blew and I installed the kit with my replacement shocks. The popping sound is gone on my car, but I wonder about how long it will last since K-Sports uses a plastic washer instead of a bearing.

Oh I see.

Well as for the roof popping, it's the welding, mine does that too.

Mine used to that when I first got the Teins, especially when backing up and turning down an incline. It will still do it if I jack the car up and then put it down. I think it is the car settling on the springs. Especially if the springs are new. Another thing is that the car does flex when turning, so keep that in mind.
