Gen6 2011 Camry Caliper Hitting Rotor

ok 2 weeks ago I installed my 20 inch wheels and lowered it with the tein s tech springs just want to let you know its modified not stock. yesterday out of no where my hole car came to a horrible halt while reversing with a really bad grinding noise along with the jerking back and forth. i thought something was stuck under my car got out checked it no. then i told my friend to get out of the car and check it he said it was coming from the driver front brake pad/rotor area tried to move it out of the road so it was still grinding and giving me a hard time moving the car but all of a sudden i heard a pop and the whole car released as if the pad let go of the rotor. took it to my mecahnic and he showed me my caliper had scratched my hole rotor the caliper and the rotor need to be replaced i think. what could have caused this

If it had been the rear, i'd of said parking/emergancy brake left on..

But the front... weird.. Have your mechanic find the cause, he will know better than us, because we can't actually look at your car.
