I installed my Pioneer head unit last night and I wanted to see if my wiring harness from my 09 Matrix would still work with my 11' Camry and it did!

BUT I accidentally plugged in one of the harnesses that led to climate controls into the back of the factory radio. This lead to the A/C not working this morning. So in a hurry this morning I tried to just undo the factory radio and turn the whole unit around to see what was wrong. I saw that the a/c control harness fit perfectly into one of the open slots on the back of the radio. So I got it plugged back in and during the process the metal braces on the back of the head unit Scratched the front of the "flip-up" console that sits right below the A/C controls!!!

Through some quick searching this is called the "Upper Console" part that I need... but looks to be anywhere from $55-$65 dollars.

I don't actually need the entire compartment I just need the door that flips up as that is the only part I scratched. Anyone know of a good place to find one or does anyone one have an 10'-11' camry with ash interior to part out that they would like to sell this part? Please advise.

No one is going to have that new of a Camry to part out for you. Your best bet is to call junkyards and see if they have any newer wrecked Camrys, and see if they can ship the part to you.

The interior of Gen 6.5 should be the same as that of Gen 6 (I haven't been in a Gen 6.5 yet) but if it is, you can go to a junk yard and get a Gen 6 (2007-2009) and it should fit

Thanks guys... looks like I'll be hitting the junk yards if this scratch really starts to annoy me... which I'm sure it will.

Dont bother these one has a scratch on it to I contacted the seller.

Yes that's exactly what I need. I wish they just sold the damn flip up door since that's all I actually need. But as posted I guess that one is scratched?

Yes I contacted the seller for you and he told me it has scratch on it.
